Tienta Sciences-Sigma-Aldrich: Distribution Agreement for SpectRIM^TM

Orlando, FL, March 13, 2006 – Tienta Sciences, Inc., a supplier of integrated solutions for tomorrow’s bioassays, announced at Pittcon today, the signing of an agreement with Sigma-Aldrich (Nasdaq: SIAL) for distribution of Tienta’s SpectRIM™ substrates. The SpectRIM’s highly polished stainless steel surface with ultrathin hydrophobic coating enables researchers to make optimal measurements of trace amounts of proteins and small molecules. The versatility of the SpectRIM makes it the ultimate solution for Raman, IR and MALDI analyses. The SpectRIM was originally introduced at Pittcon in 2004 and is currently being used for applications in forensic and homeland security and in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control.
