Tienta Sciences, Inc., welcomes Edward Chait as Board Member

Indianapolis, IN April 10, 2006 – Tienta Sciences, Inc., a spin off of Inproteo LLC, a partnership between Eli Lilly, Indiana University and Purdue University, has appointed Dr. Edward Chait as Board Member. As Board Member of Tienta, Dr. Ed Chait will strategically assist in the expansion of Tienta’s product development and commercialization activities for Tienta’s breakthrough analytical and measurement technologies.

Dr. Ed Chait brings to Tienta a wealth of experience in building a life science company.  Dr. Chait is Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. Dr. Chait’s previous assignment was CEO of Spectral Genomics, Inc.

Tienta Sciences is a start-up life science products company founded in 2003. Tienta is commercializing technology developed at Purdue University that sets new standards of accuracy and precision for measurement of biomolecules and enables standardization of measurements across multiple detection technology platforms.
